The Prophet ﷺ said: إن الله لا يقضي للمؤمن قضاء إلا كان خيرا له “Verily, Allah does not decree anything for the believer except what is good for him.” [Musnad Ahmad 12490]
Imām Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: “When the heart hardens, the eyes dry up.” [al-Fawa’id, p.225]
Shaykh Abdul Razzaq al-Badr said: “The shaytan studies a mans heart in order to see what he is tempted by.” شرح الداء والدواء للشيخ عبد الرزاق البدر ٢٦
