Ramadan Vibes

“The month of Ramadan (is the month) in which the Qur’an has been sent down as guidance for mankind containing clear signs which lead (to the straight road) and distinguishing (the truth from falsehood)..” (Q 2:185)

Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an where we can strengthen our relationship with ALLAH and can get rid of the bad habits that we might be struggling with and it is the best time to mend our relationship with ALLAH. Ramadan is the best month to attain purification not only of the body but heart, mind, and soul. The essence of Ramadan lies not only in fasting whilst abstaining from eating and drinking but also fasting of the tongue and consciously communicating with the correct words. The Prophet SAW said: Whoever doesn’t give up false statements (telling lies) and evil deeds and speaking bad words to others, Allah doesn’t need his (fasting) leaving his food and drink.

Aim of Fasting: “O’ you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you many learn piety and righteousness” (Q 2:183)

So, my brothers and sisters let’s prepare for this blessed month beforehand. Let’s start with the beautiful dua in every single prayer – Allahumma Ballighna Ramadan (O’ ALLAH! Let us reach the month of Ramadan). It is a great month to repent and earn Allah’s forgiveness and mercy. We have to keep ourselves busy performing righteous deeds as the reward is greatest in this month. Narrated Abu Huraira(R.A): The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: “Whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, then all his past sins will be forgiven.” (Imam al-Bukhari).

During this month the shayateen are chained so we have all the power to concentrate on our deeds without any distraction. Whoever utilizes his time in this life and especially this month will never regret in the next life. The infinite rewards are awaiting us!!

A person is the real loser who does not utilize his time in this blessed month as the Prophet (SAW) said: May His nose be rubbed in the dust, a man for whom Ramadan comes and goes before he is forgiven (At-Tirmidhi)

May ALLAH (SWT) allow us to reach this blessed month and may we attain His eternal mercy, forgiveness and pleasure. Aameen. May ALLAH accept all our deeds and open doors of goodness. Aameen. ❤ 🙂
